About Wagait Beach
Wagait Beach is a suburb of Northern Territory,
Northern Territory and is about 11 kms west-
northwest of NT's capital city of Darwin. In the 2011
Australian census the population of Wagait Beach
was 368 when there were 175 Females and 193
Males living there. The median age for people
living in Wagait Beach was 48.
Wagait Beach is on the opposite side of the
harbour. It makes up the Wagait Shire local
government area. Wagait Beach is not part of
Darwin, but many of its residents use the
Mandorah ferry to travel to work in Darwin.
